Dynamic English for Spanish Speakers Dynamic English is a four part course in American English for Spanish speakers which takes you from a level of beginner to advanced in 80 lessons. Dynamic English teaches you how to use English in everyday situations, teaching through dialogues, repetition exercises, pronunciation exercises, extension activities, games, and rhymes. It also helps train you for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and related exams. Dynamic English has four levels of 20 units each (Basic, Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2, and Advanced - see note below about availability); each level contains a Course Book, Bilingual Companion Book in Spanish and English, and two CDs containing dialogue practice, key sentences for repetition, and pronunciation exercises as well as real life listening activities. To introduce you to this world we offer you Dynamic English, a four level course which introduces you step-by-step to English grammar, English vocabulary, and English pronunciation. The English taught is standard American English, one of the two main varieties of English used in the world (the other is British English), intelligible to all English speakers throughout the world. Through Dynamic English you will achieve a vocabulary of over 6,000 English words, together with hundreds of additional phrases and idioms that you will learn in order to express your personal thoughts, preferences and opinions. Dynamic English aims to help you reach a standard of 500 and above, and to train you in the examination, question types and procedures.

• First it teaches you to listen and helps you understand what you hear.
• Then it explains the grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation of English in a clear and practical manner, so that you can form your own sentences immediately.
• Third, it helps you practice oral skills through the repetition of key phrases, and systematically trains you in the sounds, stress, and intonation patterns of English.
• Fourth, it gives you the opportunity to practice the grammar in controlled situations.
• Fifth, it gives you listening practice with everyday short conversations and listening passages, with simple comprehension questions to check your understanding.
• Sixth, it tests your reading skills using maps, notices, and articles.
• Seventh, it gives you the opportunity to write and develop your own thoughts and ideas, using the language you have learned.
• Finally, in a series of graded tests, it helps you evaluate what you have learned and see what you need to revise.
