When he was proprietor of the English School, a Seattle ESL school, Ken noticed a remarkable demand for ESL and language teaching materials. He saw this desire could be met on the Internet. Keep in mind, this occured during the Internet's infancy. Ken had an incredible vision seeing this connection of language learning needs tied to the Internet, and went with it. He has been successfully running Multilingual Books now for over three decades.

Ken also co-owns Seattle Records located in the University District on the Ave. There you will find an impressive inventory of new and used vinyl, cd's, cassettes, apparel, local art, and posters.
