We have nearly 50 years of experience in language teaching, teacher training, and research in language learning, with 3000 students welcomed each year in our different programmes, and we have 100 permanent employees and 100 other contributors. We provide different services, all of which contribute to the quality of your stay with us: Reception, Accommodation, Cultural Activities, Contacts and Exchange, the multimedia Resource Centre and library, New Technologies, Promotions and Communication, with facilities devoted to the teaching and learning of languages, and to other activities during your stay: 25 classrooms, the Resource Centre and independent study space, a multi-use room, four multimedia laboratories, a cafe. Our courses in French as a foreign language (FLE) comprise intensive courses, semester courses, diploma courses, and training programmes for teachers and teacher trainers in French as a foreign language and in other foreign languages.

C.I.L.S. Centre International Linguistique et Sportif
The Centre is located in the Champagne region of France, 110 km from Paris. Its 5 hectare grounds are situated on the banks of the Marne river. Champagne offers visitors many varied attractions such as Reims, Epernay, Troyes, Château-Thierry, and other famous sites. The diversity of its charming villages nestled among the vineyards never fails to win the admiration of it's visitors. Foreign students are assigned to a French as a Second Language course, after taking a test of French proficiency (5 or 8 classes will be provided, depending on the number of students). Courses are given each morning from 9 :00 a.m. to 12 :00 p.m. (15 hrs per week total). The number of students per class is kept to a minimum (8 to 12), and children are thus provided with ideal learning conditions. Teachers participate actively in the Centre and can very closely monitor the work of individual students, provide them with special assistance, and help them with study methods and organization. A detailed scholastic report is sent to the family at the end of the session, and a certificate indicating the level of French proficiency is also provided for foreign students.

La Maison des Langues
La Maison des Langues is a family run language school founded in Besançon, eastern France, in 1996 by a team of professional teachers. Today we teache ten different languages, including French for foreigners, with a wide range of learners from 4 to 80, for professional or personal interests. If you still can't speak French fluently after studying it for several years in school maybe it's because you never had the opportunity to practice speaking all day long in a friendly environment. Our "Live and learn at your teacher's" program is a total immersion in the language. During your stay you are immersed both in the language and in the everyday French life, sharing meals and all aspects of social and cultural life with your teacher: you become a member of the family. The teachers are highly experienced and qualified native speakers. Your private lessons are tailor-made for your specific needs following linguistic evaluation upon arrival. They take place in a separate classroom between 10 and twelve in the morning, five days a week (extra hours available on request ). This program is available all year-round and is suitable for everyone seventeen or older.
